What about Guido? He is a friend, I sponsored him for many years and became his fan, as of the other great  friend he introduced me to, who unfortunately died too early: Bruno Abbate.Guido is a loyal, exquisite person, perhaps a little introverted but extremely effective and successful. Immediately after the decision to sponsor him, during the first race I ever saw at the Idroscalo circuit in Milan, he was leading the race and all of a sudden I witnessed his hull flying in a tremendous looping! I got scared and remember asking to myself: “Whom  am I sponsoring? Is this the “Anonymity Suicides”? Luckily, that time everything ended well and subsequently Guido made me happy many times not only by winning 7 World Championships together, but also developing the Drivers’ Air-bag and safety capsule. Powerboating used to be a very dangerous sport that has become safer thanks to Guido and to the hull innovations he introduced as a builder. He has proven to be great also in this field!
